Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Dogdogu ("the app") is a puzzle game for iPhone and iPad made by Cuma Ali Kesici ("we"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. In short: signing in is optional, we have no servers of our own, and we do not sell your data. The only third parties that may collect data are the ad networks behind the optional reward videos: Google AdMob or Unity Ads.
Data stored on your device
Your puzzle progress, settings, scores, streaks and your balance of hints, undos and Auto-X are stored on your device. We never receive this data.
iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, your hint, undo and Auto-X balance is synced between your own devices through Apple's iCloud key-value storage. This data is stored by Apple in your iCloud account under Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access it.
Sign in with Apple and progress sync (optional)
You can play without signing in. If you choose Sign in with Apple in Settings > Account, the app receives a private identifier for your Apple Account and, if you choose to share it, your first name. We never ask for your email address. The identifier and name are kept in your device's keychain and in your own iCloud.
While you are signed in, your game progress (levels, stars, best times, daily streaks, challenge medals, games in progress and gameplay settings) is copied to a private database in your own iCloud account, so it can follow you to your other devices. Only you can access this database. It is stored by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we run no servers and cannot see it.
You can stop syncing at any time with Sign out, or remove the copy in iCloud with Delete account, both in Settings > Account. Your progress stays on your device either way. You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for Dogdogu in your iPhone or iPad Settings > [your name] > Sign-In & Security > Sign in with Apple.
Game Center (optional)
If you are signed in to Game Center, your achievements and scores are sent to Apple's Game Center service so they can appear on your Game Center profile and on leaderboards, where other players can see your Game Center name and scores. Apple handles this data under its own privacy policy; we do not receive it. You can manage Game Center, including who can see your profile, in iOS Settings > Game Center.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details. The app only receives a record from Apple that a purchase was made, so that it can give you what you bought.
Advertising (Google AdMob, Unity Ads)
The app can show optional reward videos through Google AdMob or Unity Ads (one network at a time). A video only plays when you tap "Watch a video". There are no banners or interstitial ads. When ads are used, the ad network may collect and process:
- Device identifiers, such as the advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking.
- Approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Advertising data and how you interact with ads.
- Diagnostic and performance data about the ad SDK.
The networks use this data to show, measure and improve ads, and to prevent fraud. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services, the Google Privacy Policy and the Unity Privacy Policy.
Your choices
- Tracking: the app asks for permission (App Tracking Transparency) only when you choose to watch a video. If you decline, ads are not personalized and you still get your reward. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland: with Google AdMob, the app shows Google's consent form before any ad, and you can change your choice later from the app's Settings. With Unity Ads, the app does not ask and only requests non-personalized ads in these regions.
- No ads at all: if you never tap "Watch a video", no ad is requested. Dogdogu Pro hides the video offers.
Children
Dogdogu is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes all data stored on your device. To remove your synced progress, use Delete account in the app's Settings > Account. To remove the synced balance as well, delete the app's data from iCloud in iOS Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage. Game Center achievements and scores are managed by Apple in iOS Settings > Game Center. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing else for us to delete; for questions, contact us below.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
